The Best of the Balkans

Last summer, I was lucky enough to spend my days busing, hitching, and flying around all the Balkan countries (and not just because I needed to be out of the Schengen *cough*). I didn’t really know what to expect of the lesser known cities and countries that don’t usually make it to the travelers list; but my eyes have been opened and I’ve seen a refreshing, beautiful side of Europe.
